In addition to recycled polyester yarns, the portfolio of the company also includes the flame-retardant polyester fibres and yarns FLAMEX. Fabrics made of 100% FLAMEX comply with the German, technical building regulations and are classified as flame-retardant building material according to DIN 4102 B1.

The latest product innovation, FLAMEXGREEN, is a staple fibre yarn that meets environmental as well as fire safety requirements. At least 50% recycled PET bottles (post-consumer) are used in the production of FLAMEXGREEN. By recycling PET bottles, Carl Weiske increases resource efficiency and contributes to the protection of the environment. The "Global Recycled Standard" certification also guarantees compliance with social and environmental practices throughout the product chain.
